Vanesa Balda

Vanesa Balda is a lawyer at the Corporate Law Department of VMF.

She advices domestic and foreign companies on company and contract matters. Her fields of expertise are Mergers & Acquisitions, foreign investment, contract, regulatory approvals and technology transfer.

She advises clients from industries such as maritime, real estate, media, pharmaceutical, health, food, farming, mining, energy, and oil & gas.

She has been a lecturer at the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.

She is a member of the Bar Associations of the City of Buenos Aires and of San Isidro (Province of Buenos Aires) (CPACF and CASI). She is a legal advisor to the World Bank and actively participates in various Entrepreneurial Chambers and Binational Trade Chambers. She is also active at the International Law Section of the American Bar Association, where she co-chaired the M&A Committee for three terms. She presently co-chairs the Latin American & Caribbean Committee.

She is the author of numerous articles in specialized publications and speaker at conferences on her fields of speciality in Argentina and abroad.
